Empowering Principals as Community Leaders in Albania

The AADF established the Center for School Leadership in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth with the aim of training and certifying principals, aspiring school principals, and vice principals. Relying on a well-defined legal framework, the Center for School Leadership delivers the Compulsory Training Program and the certification process. It also provides on-the-job continuous professional development training through the Continuing Professional Development Program.

The AADF has introduced a new standard for pre-university school leadership based on the successful model implemented by the Avney Rosha Institute in Israel. We, at the AADF, envision principals as community leaders, who foster focused interactions with teachers, engage proactively with wider communities, and build a productive environment in the schools they manage.
